Spain – Malaga – Marbella – Harbour (En)
The Marbella harbour was founded in 1957 and was initially used to anchor sports boats. Due to its location in the heart of the city, it is frequented by locals and visited by tourists. The pleasant atmosphere of its bars, the proximity of the beaches and its wide range of nautical competitions, regattas and sailing classes, make this place an exciting visit.
This port has been awarded one of the Blue Flags given to Malaga ports in 2021.
From the harbour, we went along the promenade to El Sombrero beach bar of my friend Natalie who was with me in High School, located right on the beach and in front of the sea. Our friend Elena joined us for lunch and we shared anchovies, Padron peppers and seafood paella! If you come to Marbella I recommend coming here to eat, everything is delicious with a great atmosphere!
And after lunch, we went to Yuyu’s bar, owned by another friend of mine who was also with me in High School, where we will meet my Portugueses friends Ana Cristina and Paulo and where we also met Maite, Begoña, Sonia and Lee. So we spent an incredible evening and night meeting with friends and we had a great time!
And in the next post, you will see Iznajar and Fuente del Conde, two towns in the province of Córdoba and other rural places as we are going to visit Ben’s friends who have an amazing beautiful rural house!
