Spain – Coruña – Playa de Barrañan (En)
After all our adventures in Ferrol with my cousin Alicia we went to Barrañan beach in Gondreo. We stayed in a motorhome area owned by Adrian, he is waiting for the licence to properly open it and meanwhile, he leaves the motorhomes to stay free. In the area, there are services for fill water and emptying water and the WC is next to a beer bar which opens from 9.30 am to 1,30 am and give food all day! It is very popular and is full on weekends. Thank you very much to Adrian for letting us stay several days, we really recommend it to all the motorhomes to stop and stay and try the beer and food in the restaurant.
The beer restaurant is called A Recova and on Sunday was full, all booked until 4.30 pm so we went to walk on the beach. It is a surfer beach with white fine sand and dunes and the sea entry forms a kind of river on the beach. In the end, we went for lunch at 6 pm when were free tables and we shared a varied croquettes platter: crab, Iberian ham and ink squid and a dish called Zorza, small pieces of pork in species (similar to the Morrocan skewer). The staff are really nice.
The next day Monday we went for a proper walk on the beach as it has amazing views and Asha had a ball playing and swimming.
And today Tuesday Ben is working in the beer bar to charge his laptop, then we will lunch there some sandwiches and go this evening to Corcubion to meet Tino, cousin of my cousin Carlos who will show us the town and surrounding villages. All that in the next post.
