Yorkshire Dales – Ingleton (En)

On our way to Scotland we visited the Yorkshire Dales famous for their fantastic scenery, with beautiful lakes and rivers, hills and valleys dotted with stone walls crossing the landscape, falls and tiny picturesque villages. We decided to go to Ingleton to see the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. We parked in the municipal parking next to the tourist office where we could pass the night for 5 pounds.

First, we went to see the town. The town has a viaduct, stone houses and stone walls with little doors to pass. The stone walls are done stone by stone without cement.

Then we went to the Ingleton waterfall trail to see the waterfalls. The trail is beautiful with hanging bridges, amazing views and 6 waterfalls called Pecca Falls, Hollybush Spout, Thornton Force, Beezley Falls, Snow Falls y Baxenghyll Gorge. The walk is 2 hours and a half, and when we finished we were exhausted because there is a lot of uphills but it is worth it!

We finished at 8.30 pm, tired and hungry so we went to the town pub to eat scampi as they told us the scampi in this area were really good and they were yummy!

And the next day we went to the Lake District!
