Bidford-on-Avon & Lower Tysoe (En)

We went to see Bidford-on-Avon, a very nice town next to the Avon river with a Roman road passing through. By the way, in England, the top speed limit signs you will see are 50 o 60 but they are in miles/hour not in Km/h, so you see cars going really slow because they think the speed limit is 50 km/h, it is pretty funny. Another thing is that you will eat potatoes with most of the meals, chips, roast, mash, and all kinds.

We saw the town and cross the bridge to the park next to the river so Asha could play. The river has the typical narrow boats and there are pubs and houses on the river bank. Some of the houses are really cute. We finished having a drink in one of the pubs on the river bank and a guy came to say hi to Ben, he was a friend that Ben used to hang out with when he was 18 years old!

Then we went to pass some days in Dominic’s house (Ben’s brother) and see Sasha (Ben’s nephew) with our motorhome. They live in a hamlet called Lower Tysoe, the hamlet has stone houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. It has just one shop and one pub, and inside of the pub, in the back, there is a Chinese restaurant that you will never find if you don’t know that it is there.

Bella (Lisa’s daughter) and her partner Oliver came for dinner with their dog Blue. We had 3 different types of curry that Dominic cooked. Dominic and Lisa have a dog called Bo, and Asha and he did not have a problem as Bo is really quiet and has already 10 years old. We had fun and I tried VR (Virtual reality) for the first time, really cool, I was in a spaceship.

We finished the week passing the weekend with Joe (Ben’s cousin) and her partner Joanna. They have a dog called Freddy, he is a cutie. We went first to walk the dogs in a really cool place where the dogs can be free and run around, so Asha had a great time. And then we did a barbecue at Joe and Joanna’s house. I do not know why I was calling the dog Jeffry instead of Freddy! We had a really good time and finish listening to music and dancing. So on Sunday, we needed to rest!

And this week maybe we go to Oxford or to the beach on the coast as the weather says it will be 28 or 29 degrees on Friday. So new places in the following posts!
