Brighton – city, family and friends (En)
I will summarise our time in Brighton. Jade, Ben’s niece, came to see our motorhome with her two dogs, two podencos rescued from Spain called Tara and Zorro. And then she took us to walk around the fields called The Downs, a really lovely place with beautiful views. We walked a lot and passed near the horse racecourse and farms.
On another day we went to Brighton walking with Asha. First, we had lunch in a fantastic pub in the lanes on the right side of the city, there are more lanes on the other side of the city which are more hippies. Ben had a jacket potato with chilli con Carne and I had a chicken and bacon sandwich with chips. Well, Asha ate the chips, all excellent price, 6 and 7 pounds. The lanes are narrow streets with really cool shops, bars and pubs. I love the lanes in Brighton, my favourite places.
Then we went walking through the centre city until we arrived at the Royal Pavillion, next to the museum and art gallery. The Royal Pavillion is amazing, the best thing to visit in Brighton as you will see in the pictures now.
Then we went to the famous Brighton Palace Pier to meet Jade, next to the pier is Brighton beach with shops and bars, the beach is pebbles, not sand. And from there we went to see the more hippie lanes on the other side of the city.
That evening my friends Chris and Neil came to visit and to see our motorhome, they did like it! We had cocktails on our porch and catch up, then we order Chinese takeaway and we ate it inside the motorhome. We had a really good time until really late.
And today Friday, our last day here, we went to lunch with Jade at a beautiful cafe near our camping and in a park so Asha could play. We all had a full English breakfast with bacon, hamburger, beak beans, tomato, mushrooms and toast, my one without egg and extra mushrooms. Yummy!
And this evening we have to pack as tomorrow we are going to South Hampton to see Dominic, Ben’s brother who has a boat there, so we are going for a boat ride tomorrow! And all that in the following post.
