Our review
An OK area for visiting Port-Vendres and nearby Collioure, next to the coastal path, a 15-minute walk from the centre, with a huge supermarket just around the corner. The location is fantastic.
There are two parking sections. The one on the right has no marked pitches and no shade, but it's where you'll find the point for emptying grey and black water and filling up; the one on the left is under the trees, with marked pitches – we stayed there and didn't need ramps. The left section has the toilets – one without a seat or paper, the other a squat toilet – and taps for washing dishes, with cold water only. The bins are at the entrance.
The fee is 8 euros, collected by the police at around 8.30am. We weren't sure whether it's per day: in our four days they only came once. Empty and fill when you arrive, as filling is really slow – we used the tap at the dishwashing area instead.
