Our review
An excellent area, with electricity included and everything you need nearby. Leucate has several motorhome areas; we chose this one, on Rue Dalí, because it's 200 metres from the lagoon and the beach, and you can walk or cycle to the port.
It costs 13.93 euros a day, electricity included. You pay by card at the barrier for the days you want to stay, and the receipt gives you a code to use the services and to leave and come back with the motorhome – handy for visiting the village and its seafood restaurants. The area is very large, and all the pitches are level, so you don't need ramps. The point for filling and emptying is right as you come in and very easy to reach, with the bins on the left.
There's a McDonald's opposite (you can use its toilets), a cheap and very good pizza place 100 metres down the street towards the beach, and a casino with cinemas and restaurants. For Wi-Fi, register on the town's website: it's free, but only for a few hours at a time. We highly recommend it.

Keep your receipt – its code lets you take the motorhome out and come back in.
