Our review
Frías is breathtaking – one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. This Camping-Car Park is a great base for visiting its medieval old town, and for 6 euros a day it's well worth it. The showers are free, with excellent water pressure, but the washing-up sinks are more basic and seem to get blocked easily. The location is the highlight.
A word of warning: don't take the national park road to get here (see the photos). It isn't suitable for motorhomes – with steep, narrow roads up and down and hairpin bends, it was a very stressful drive, and we weren't sure we would make it. Use the BU-504 to arrive and leave; it's a lot less stressful ;-)
