Our review
A free site, so very good for visiting this beautiful town – shops, restaurants and everything else are within walking distance. It's a dirt car park with some shade; there are no facilities, but there are rubbish bins at the entrance.
The location is great: a supermarket is a minute or two away, the old town, with its beautiful square, is 5 minutes' walk, and the port and the islet of Castellar are 10 minutes. It's quite safe, and you can sleep well – except during Carnival, when we were there, with music until midnight on Saturday.
The area is small and quite busy, so arrive early in the morning. Drive in carefully, and watch out for dog mess around the area. The easiest pitches are on the right as you come in; on the other side you park between the trees.
