Our review
Honfleur is one of the most beautiful towns in France, and really worth seeing – and this is the only motorhome area in town, right next to it. It's very big, but it can be full in high season and at weekends.
The area has two parts. The paved one has a barrier – you take a ticket on the way in and pay when you leave – with electricity and services, for 20 euros a day; that's where we stayed. The unpaved part costs 14 euros, with no services, and you display the ticket you've paid for. We parked looking out over the harbour, fairly level and next to an electricity hook-up; there are some grass pitches with electricity too, but there's no shade anywhere. There are two points for emptying grey and black water and filling with drinking water, and the bins are at the entrance. All the services worked fine.
The area is right next to a lovely park and the harbour, with a seafood restaurant and shop 5 minutes away. The town centre is a 10-minute walk – it's beautiful, so it's very touristy.
Top tips
Park facing the harbour – it's fairly level, next to an electricity hook-up.
