Our review
A free motorhome area at Hardelot beach – a very good place to stay, and very near the Calais ferry for a stopover. We stayed two nights without any problem; there were plenty of other motorhomes, it felt very safe and it's quiet at night – we slept really well.
There are no services, just bins and a water tap. Long motorhomes are better parked sideways; we parked at the end of the area, but needed our ramps.
The beach is a 5-minute walk away, and along the seafront promenade you reach the town centre in 10 minutes, with shops and restaurants. The supermarket is 15 minutes away.
