Our review

A fantastic location, next to the beach where you can see the seals every day – go at low tide to see them on the sand – and a walk along the seafront from the town centre. It costs 12 euros a day; the police come round to collect it and give you a ticket for your window.

The services are at the entrance: drinking water, a chemical toilet point and a waste water point, with the bins at the exit. All the pitches are the same – long, but too narrow to put out tables and chairs. We didn't need ramps, but many people do.

At the entrance there's a cheap food truck selling mussels, chips, burgers and drinks, and another selling crêpes and ice cream. The seal beach is 200 metres away, and the shops in town are a 10-minute walk.

Top tips

Go at low tide to see the seals on the sand.

Good to know

The pitches are narrow – no room for tables and chairs.
