Our review
A free place to stay at a taverna with very nice, affordable food and really friendly staff – the best chips we've ever had. You park in the taverna's car park, in front of the toilets and showers, with views of the mountains and the children's playground. We'd recommend staying a day or two to enjoy the beach and the food.
The toilets are very clean, with seats and paper, and open 24 hours – you can empty the chemical toilet there – and there are outdoor cold showers, where you can also fill up with water. All the spaces are level, and there are two electric sockets you can ask to use (we didn't need them). There's free Wi-Fi that works very well, and bins around the restaurant. Don't park in front of the children's play area.
The beach is 100 metres away; some campervans park on the sand, and from mid-May there are sunbeds and a beach bar. The next town is 7 km away.

Try the chips at the taverna – the best we've ever had.
