Our review
A really good campsite on a sandy beach that's good for swimming, with great facilities and super helpful, friendly staff. The free Wi-Fi is really good and fast, and works all the time. We did find it expensive: 23.50 euros a day with the ACSI card, without electricity.
The pitches are under trees, so you get both shade and sun. Most are level, and those at the front look out over the beach – though they're further from the facilities, and some pitches are difficult for big motorhomes to turn into. Every pitch has drinking water, where you can fill the tank, and its own bin. Grey water is emptied at the entrance, and the chemical toilet point is in the facility block. On the left-hand side a river runs past the pitches – you can hear the frogs, but we slept well.
There are lots of tavernas on the beach, and a ping-pong table on the site. The town and a Lidl are 5 km away, by bike or motorbike, or you can hire a car through the campsite.
Top tips
Ask at reception about hiring a car to explore the area.
