Our review
A beautiful spot in the village, with amazing views – the taverna has the best views in Arkoudi, and we were lucky enough to park looking out over the beach. It costs 10 euros a day, or 15 with electricity (we didn't use it), and it's good value. We stayed eight nights.
The managers, a very friendly Austrian couple with two lovely dogs, joined us for drinks in the evenings. There's a toilet, a chemical toilet point, and an outdoor shower with hot water – a completely new experience, and we loved it. Each pitch has a hose for filling the tank, but the water isn't for drinking – boil it to make coffee. We used the chemical toilet point to empty our grey water too. The free Wi-Fi needs no password and works all over the area.
We didn't eat at the taverna, as we found it quite expensive. You can walk to the village centre and the beach, with lots of restaurants, bars with sunbeds and shops; the village is beautiful, with really cute bars, and the nearest shop is 180 metres away.
Top tips
Ask for a pitch facing the view – it's the best in the village.
Good to know
The water at the pitches isn't drinking water – boil it for coffee.
