Our review
When we arrived we realised we'd been here three years before – and the woman at reception remembered us perfectly. The campsite has everything you need, and at 20 euros a day in cash, electricity included, it's cheaper than many campsites in Greece. We really recommend it.
It's huge, with room for motorhomes of every size and amazing views. The best pitches look out over the beach, under the trees for shade, with a water tap and electricity. The facilities are at the far end of the site – not new, but fine, with good shower pressure on our earlier visit. The chemical toilet and emptying point are on the left of the facility block, there are water taps around the site and bins by reception, and the free Wi-Fi works really well.
The beautiful town is a 5 to 10-minute walk away, with restaurants, bars, shops, a sandy beach with sunbeds and a lovely square, and the stunning castle is just 4 minutes from the campsite – entry is 5 euros (we got in free on national museum day).
Top tips
Pay in cash – it's 1.50 euros a day cheaper than by card.

The town is beautiful and the castle is stunning. There are sunbeds on the town's sandy beach, and a beautiful square with lots of restaurants.
