Our review

The best things about this campsite are the swimming pool, with its lovely bar, and the restaurant area, with amazing views over the village and the beach. A sandy beach is down a flight of steep steps from the pool, and the beautiful village, with seafront restaurants and shops, is a 5 to 10-minute walk along a road with incredible views, through the gate by the pool.

We found it a little expensive: 25 euros a day with the ACSI card, electricity included, and much more without it. The pitches are tight and tricky to get into – we couldn't fit in many and had to take the motorbike off to fit. Check the pitch on foot before you drive in. The bigger ones are after the first street down; they're shaded, but all need ramps and still aren't level, and the water taps at the pitches don't work.

The facilities are good, though the showers could do with more pressure. There's a dishwashing area with hot water, toilets with seats and paper, a laundry with a washing machine, dryer and ironing board, and a kitchen with a fridge and barbecue. The point for filling and emptying is just past reception, at the entrance; the chemical toilet point is behind the men's block. The free Wi-Fi is average.

Top tips

Walk to the pitch first – many are too tight for a big motorhome.

Good to know

The water taps at the pitches don't work – fill up at the point by reception.
