Our review
One of the cheapest campsites in the Peloponnese, and it has everything you need, in very good condition – there's even music in the facility block while you shower. The staff are really nice, and the location is great for visiting Kalamata. We stayed eleven nights.
There's a kitchen area where you can use the fridges and freezers, sockets and cooking hobs, and the washing machines are cheap: 1 euro for an hour. For motorhomes of 8 metres or more, the middle pitches are best, as they're very big, though some have no shade; we were in the middle, next to the trees. The smaller pitches, with sun umbrellas and chairs under the trees, are for tents and small campers. The points for filling and emptying and for the chemical toilet are outside the facility block and easy to reach, and all the water is drinkable.
The campsite faces the beach, with a beach bar and sunbeds. There's a supermarket next door, a Lidl 5 minutes away, and a bus stop outside, with a bus to the centre every 15 minutes – or it's 10 minutes by bike. The town has lots to see, with beach restaurants, shops, and a farmers' market in the old town on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Top tips
Take the bus into town – it runs every 15 minutes from outside the campsite.
Good to know
You can use the kitchen's fridges, freezers and cooking hobs.
