Our review
One of the most beautiful areas we've stayed at, right by the lovely harbour on the canal, with stunning views and paths to walk, a 10-minute walk from the old town, which is very nice. It's like a campsite – electricity, toilets, showers, a dishwashing area and filling and emptying – all for 15 euros a day. The only thing missing is a washing machine. We loved it and will definitely be back.
The entrance is over a bridge and quite narrow: only one vehicle fits at a time, in and out the same way, and we wouldn't recommend it for motorhomes wider than 2.5 metres. There are grass pitches nearest the facilities, but they're harder to manoeuvre on; we parked on the hardstanding pitches, which are level and easy to reach.
The point for filling and emptying is before the facility block, with the bins at the entrance. There are two pétanque pitches, and free Wi-Fi of good quality – just log in on the area's page.
Top tips
Take the bridge at the entrance slowly – it's one vehicle at a time.
Good to know
Not suitable for motorhomes wider than 2.5 metres (a narrow bridge at the entrance). No washing machine.
