Our review
A great site for visiting Ravenna, and good for the price – there are so many things to see and do, and our thanks go to the city for providing it. The motorhome area is in Piazza della Resistenza; the city centre and the Basilica are about a 10-minute walk away, with lots of bars and restaurants and an amazing market with glamorous restaurants.
It's simply a car park: 6 euros a day, with no barrier – you pay at the machine for the days you want and put the ticket in your window. Don't park in the car spaces, or you'll be moved on. There are two areas for motorhomes; if you're long, the back of the motorhome has to hang over the grass. You can't put out chairs and tables. The point for filling and emptying is across the way, in the bus car park, and grey and black water are emptied in the same place, which isn't very nice – we didn't use the facilities.
In the square there are food stalls, public toilets, bins and a fountain, with a restaurant opposite. A market is held in the car park on Thursdays, and a Lidl is a 10-minute walk away. We'd recommend it for visiting this amazing city.

Display your ticket in the window, and don't park in the car spaces.
