Our review

A really good free area in a beautiful place, with everything you need – we highly recommend it. It's in the Ebro Delta Natural Park, among rice fields full of amazing birds, and it's run by La Casa de Fusta restaurant, which specialises in rice dishes – the park is full of rice paddies. Have lunch there if you can.

The area is huge, so there's always room, and you can come and go whenever you like. The bigger pitches are on the right, from number 11 on, all sunny and level. Parking is free, but filling and emptying costs 5 euros; the point opens at 10am, and that's also when you can get drinking water and empty the chemical toilet. There are public toilets, gas bottles for sale and bikes to hire.

There's a kiosk selling drinks and snacks, with a terrace, and the restaurant bar sells bread. The Wi-Fi is free, but only in the restaurant. You can walk or cycle around the natural park, which has several viewpoints.

Top tips

Hire a bike and explore the park's viewpoints – then have lunch at the rice restaurant.
