Our review

A really good site for its price, right next to the Saint-Michel canal, a 10-minute walk from the town centre – we really recommend it. It costs 15 euros, with electricity and all the services included, and if you don't want to stay 24 hours you can pay just 5 euros to use the facilities.

You pay at the machine at the entrance, which gives you a code for the shower and toilet. The pitches are spacious and fairly level – we parked on the left as you come in, where they're level, next to an electric hook-up. The point for filling and emptying is easy to reach, with the bins to the right of the entrance and a tap outside the shower and toilet block. We didn't use the shower, but the people who did said it was very good; the toilet, as usual in France, has no seat or paper. The free Wi-Fi was the best we had in France – just sign up on the area's page.

There are beautiful walks along the canal, with a bar-restaurant and a McDonald's next to the area, and the main square, with its town hall and bell tower surrounded by restaurants and shops, is 10 minutes away.

Top tips

Only stopping for the services? It's 5 euros to use the facilities without staying.
