Midlands – Stratford-upon-Avon (En)

Stratford is a medieval market town in England’s West Midlands and is the 16th-century birthplace of William Shakespeare. Possibly the most famous writer in the English language, known for his sonnets and plays such as Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet. The town is beautiful and you can visit the birthplace house of Shakespeare and the Oval theatre where the Royal Shakespeare company perform his plays. The theatre is on the banks of the River Avon. On the river, there are boat houses called the narrow boats so they can navigate through the river. There are many swans so it is beautiful and you can hire small boats to navigate the river or go in a tourist bigger boat.

That evening we went to Mathew’s house (Ben’s brother) and Rio (his girlfriend) for a barbecue. We went to the barbecue in Janet (Ben’s mum) and John’s motorhome with Asha and Isabella. Their motorhome is shorter than ours but higher.

Mathew’s house is really nice with a garden where we had the barbecue, sausages, chicken, hamburgers and potato salad really yummy. Mathew has a dog called Humphrey, and he and Isabella played a lot.

And the next day Thursday, in the end, we did not go to Oxford, we did go to Chipping Campden a town in the district of the Cotswold.
