Our review

A great location for visiting Santa Pau, a beautiful town that's well worth seeing. The municipal area is next to the tourist office, and for 8 euros a day you have everything you need except electricity. You scan the QR code at the entrance and pay.

It's a really big area with plenty of space, but no shade and no marked pitches – you park wherever you like, after the point for filling and emptying grey and black water. You'll need ramps everywhere. There are rubbish bins, and lovely mountain views.

A supermarket is just around the corner and the old town is a 10-minute walk away. The tourist office and a pizza place at the entrance were closed in February. We stayed two days with no problems – it's safe and quiet at night. We highly recommend it.

Top tips

Bring ramps – you'll need them wherever you park.

Good to know

There's no electricity and no shade.
