Our review
A free car park next to the big street market, beside McDonald's – really good for visiting the town, with lots around. It's huge, so there's always space, and quite flat; just choose the most level spot next to the other motorhomes. It's safe, with plenty of other campervans, and quiet enough to sleep. We stayed two days with no problems.
There are no facilities, but there are bins on the street and toilets in McDonald's. The street market is held next to the car park on Mondays and Saturdays – go if you can. A Lidl is 5 minutes' walk away, the bus station is next to McDonald's, and the centre and the promenade are 20 minutes on foot.
Within 10 minutes' walk there are lots of shops and restaurants, the museums are all free, and you can see flamingos just 12 minutes' walk from the area. We'd recommend it for visiting this beautiful town.
