Our review
This is where we usually spend the winter months, opposite Sonora beach, between Marbella and Estepona – many of our friends stay here too. The best thing is the heated swimming pool, surrounded by trees and sun loungers. The staff speak good Spanish and English and are very friendly, and there are free books outside reception and a small shop with essentials and gas bottles.
The facilities are old. When we stayed they were renovating the toilets, so everyone was using the women's toilets and showers, and they were replacing the showers so you can set the temperature – until then, it's sometimes too hot or too cold. The path to the facilities was being repaired too. There's a washing machine and dryer, a dishwashing area with hot water, drinking water on both levels, two chemical toilet points and one area for filling and emptying.
The Wi-Fi is great over most of the site. There's a restaurant on the campsite, which we find quite expensive, and a more affordable one with a set menu at the entrance. The beach, with more bars and restaurants, is less than 5 minutes away; you can walk the 7 km along the beach to Estepona, or catch the bus outside the campsite to Estepona, San Pedro or Marbella.

Walk along the beach path – it links different areas, and Estepona is 7 km away.

Things nearby
Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and the beach, with more, less than 5 minutes away. A zoo is 10 minutes' walk away, or under 5 minutes by bike.
About the location
Estepona is a 7 km walk away, and buses nearby go to Estepona and Marbella. There's a nice walking path along the beach to different areas.
