Our review
Not an amazing campsite, but the cheapest in the area for visiting the cliffs, with stunning countryside views. It's a 10-minute walk to the cliffs and the beach, with good restaurants, in one direction, and 10 minutes to the village, with its beautiful town hall and church, in the other.
There are two prices: 17.90 euros a day, all included, in the tarmac area, where the pitches have electricity but need ramps; and 27 euros on the grass, where the pitches are more level, with shade and hedges for privacy. We stayed on the tarmac. Grey water is emptied outside, before the entrance; the filling point is inside on the left, the bins inside on the right, and the chemical toilet point at the side of the facility block, with drinking water taps around the site.
The toilets have no paper or seats. The showers need the button pressing again and again, and the pressure is low; the hot water was fine in the women's showers, but the men's ran cold. There's a dishwashing area with hot water, a washing machine, an area for washing by hand, and a ping-pong table, which we enjoyed.
Top tips
Pay the extra for the grass if you want level pitches, shade and privacy.
