Our review
A disappointing stay. We chose the village's only campsite because we'd read we could take a bus to Marseille, and planned to stay several days. We arrived just before 2pm; the manager, at lunch, told us to park wherever we liked and that he'd come and see us in 10 minutes. He never came, so we couldn't ask where anything was – the facilities, the drinking water or the bus to Marseille.
The motorhome area itself is very nice, next to a stream, with a table and bench on the right-hand side and a nice view; there's a tree in the middle you have to park round, which can be tricky in a big motorhome. We found where to empty the waste water ourselves, but never found the drinking water. The toilets (no paper), showers (hot water, no pressure), dishwashing area (no hot water) and chemical toilet point are in another area, quite far away. The washing machine was broken and full of cobwebs.
In the end we stayed one night instead of three, left the 20 euros in an envelope in the restaurant's post box and didn't get to visit Marseille. The town itself is nice to see, just an 8-minute walk away, and there's a lovely riverside walk next to the campsite with amazing views of the mountains.
Good to know
Ask for directions when you arrive – we couldn't find the drinking water.
