Our review
A great, relaxing campervan area right on the beach, with beautiful views and amazing sunsets – we loved it. It's run by two brothers who are really friendly and helpful and speak English: George, who works afternoons, even drove Ben to buy a Greek gas bottle. It's just 15 minutes' drive from the ferry port, so it's ideal before or after the long ferry from Italy – we'll stay again when we catch the ferry back.
It's very good value: 15 euros a day without electricity, 20 with. Access is easy, the area is big and level, so it's good for big motorhomes and you don't need ramps, and every pitch has a drinking water tap, so you can fill up without moving. The best pitches are at the entrance, facing the beach with lovely sea views. The shower is great, with good pressure and hot water; the toilet has a seat and paper. There's a washing machine and dryer – you pay for them with the pitch, the day before you leave – and free Wi-Fi that works really well without cutting out.
A lovely taverna next to the site has good, affordable food and an amazing terrace on the beach, and the town, with shops, a supermarket and more restaurants, is a 5 to 10-minute walk away.

Stop here before or after the ferry – the port is just 15 minutes' drive away.
Good to know
Pay for the washing machine with the pitch, the day before you leave.
