Villajoyosa (En)
Yesterday Friday we went to visit Villajoyosa, we walk 30 minutes to the tram stop. We thought that the tram will go all the way to Villajoyosa but a nice dutch guy told us that we needed to change the tram in Benidorm. He was going the same way so we went with him. We changed trams in Benidorm and we took the opportunity to take some pictures. Benidorm is all tall ugly buildings, from what we could see.
Villajoyosa is a pretty big town, 45000 inhabitants, with nice narrow streets in the old town and the houses painted in different colours, but many of the houses were falling apart. We visited first the old town where the church is and then we went down to the beach. The beach is pretty big and sandy. We ate in the fisherman suburb where the houses are also painted in colours. We had the menu of the day, pretty cheap, mussels and boquerones (anchovies) for start and seabass for the main course. Then we went back through the park to take again the tram. On the tram, it was a little mess when the ticket man started to yell at a couple because they did not pay the ticket, at the end, he did not give them a fine but banned them from going back to the tram.
Today Saturday, we are going to have a bbq with Billy and Wolfgang but it is too windy, if the weather does not improve we will have the bbq tomorrow.

I can see you’re having fun and nice meals. 😋😋
Have fun with Wolfgang and Billy.
We are still enjoying ourselves here in Moncofa.
