Denia (En)

Yesterday finally we got our Acsi camping card in a place past Denia. So we went to visit Denia afterwards. Denia is a town around a castle and its walls, with streets full of bars and restaurants going to the harbour.

We followed that old town until the harbour where it was a beautiful square with bars to have a drink. We took a look at the menus of the day there but they were more expensive than the old town and not that good so we went back to the old town.

When we were in the old town we saw a place with a menu for the day really good so we went back there, and it was amazing! The menu were 3 curses, first artichoke filled with meat and bacon, so yummy. Second I ate squid in alioli sauce and Ben fresh cheese with anchovies and orange. And the main course was meloso rice with octopus and mussels. Really nice rice, the first time we tried it, it is different to all the kinds of rice we have tried until now. For Ben the best food he has eaten until now. So if you go to Denia we recommend going to the restaurant La Cova Tallá.

That evening we went to Gandia where we are now. We are in a camping called La Alqueria, located in the middle of the harbour and the old town. The camping location is really good, the facilities are ok with a bar and heated pool but we can only stay until Sunday morning because it is full and booked. Today we will visit the beach and harbour and eat the typical fidegua as it is from here and suppose to be the best. So in the next posts Gandia pictures and comments.
