Our review

We stayed at Camping Vanner, next to the abbey. The points for filling and emptying grey and black water and the bins are at the campsite entrance, convenient and easy to use, and a building next door has toilets, showers and washing-up sinks. We were told to park next to the owners' farm, where we had our own toilet and shower, but nowhere to wash up.

The site is very nice, and we had the abbey right next to the motorhome – but the toilet and shower were full of gigantic mosquitoes! Electricity is £4; in all we paid £24 a day, which we thought very expensive for what's offered, as it's only close to the abbey and there's nothing else to see apart from some walks.
