Our review

We stayed at the municipal campsite Les Sablères, a 15-minute walk from the town and the lake, next to the fine dune beach. The facilities are good – hot water and pressure in the showers – but the toilets have no seats or paper. The washing-up area is good, with hot water, and the pitches are big. We paid 19 euros a day; be aware that they charge 1 euro a day per dog.

A gate in the campsite leads to the beach, where you'll find a mini market and a pretty good local bar. We met our neighbours, a nice English couple, Trudy and Slin, swapped travel stories and had a great time – we hope to see them again in Spain or Germany next year!

Good to know

Dogs are 1 euro a day. No toilet seats or paper.
