Our review
We stayed at Camping Madrid Arco Iris in Villaviciosa de Odón, just outside Madrid, when we needed a campsite to clean the motorhome and do the washing. It cost 25 euros a day, all included.
There's a swimming pool (it was closed when we were there), a children's play area and a bar-restaurant with a ping-pong table. The toilets are big and clean. The one annoyance is that the showers and taps work on sensors, which is a real pain – one toilet had no sensors, and that's the one everybody used. The washing-up sinks have hot water, and the service point for filling and emptying is big and easy to use. Dogs are welcome, free of charge.
