Our review
The staff here are excellent. When we arrived the campsite was full, but they found us a pitch for that night and booked us a great one for the next three days – the lady at reception spent over an hour sorting it all out. They speak English and some Spanish, and the staff in the bar and the bakery were very friendly too.
The campsite has everything: two heated pools and one with a jacuzzi, paddle tennis courts, mini golf, ping-pong, volleyball, darts and yoga, a bar with games and live music, a bakery and a stand selling pizzas and burgers. For us, the best things were the staff, the pools and all the activities.
The pitches are spacious but not all level – some are sand and grass, others hardstanding – and the best are in the middle section: really big, quiet and next to the facilities. The showers are spacious, with a changing area and hot water, though not very powerful. The toilets have no seats or paper, but reception gives you a roll of toilet paper and some washing-up liquid when you arrive. There's drinking water at the pitches.
Biscarrosse-Plage is a beach and surf town – you can learn to surf or hire a board. The town is a 10-minute walk away, with the beach a few minutes further on. We'd recommend it for a few days to enjoy the beach and everything the campsite has to offer.
Top tips
Collect a roll of toilet paper and washing-up liquid at reception – there's no paper in the toilets.
Good to know
The grey water point is on the right as you come in, and difficult to reach from the rest of the site.

About the wifi
Paid for: choose a plan at reception, from 20 euros a week. We didn't use it, so we can't say how good the coverage is.
