Peñiscola Town (En)
We arrived at Peñiscola town recommended by my cousin Mila and we went to the camping Edén. We choose this camping for its location and because they accepted the Acsi card, so more cheap for us. The camping is located in front of the beach in the paseo and 15 minutes walking to the castle and the old town. The facilities are amazing. The bathroom has a heated floor and they gave us a router with 50 Gb! It has a dog shower and the plots are big and with your own water sink. It has a really good and big restaurant in the corner with a menu of the day cheaper for the camping guests. At the moment the best camping, 5 stars for camping Eden!
As it was a beautiful sunny day we went to see the town. From the paseo you can see already the castle and old town, it is beautiful!
We stopped for lunch in a restaurant in front of the sea, I ate an amazing sole fish with salad and chips for only 11 euros. And we walked the paseo until we arrived at the old town.
The old town and the castle are beautiful, full of narrow streets with bars, pretty cosy shops and restaurants, and amazing sea views. To go inside to the old town you walked between the castle walls and you do your way up through arcs, little streets and alleys. The lighthouse is on the top of the old town and the castle.
We did not have time to see the castle inside and its gardens as they close at 5.30 pm, so we have to come back another day. And we did our way back to the camping via the paseo. We totally fall in love with the town!
In the next post the Pope Moon castle.
