Cullera Chapel and things (En)

Cullera town is pretty peculiar, when we arrived we tried to have lunch in someplace and all the restaurants were closed, and there are a lot! I asked and they told us that in winter all is closed and only open at weekends. After a lot of walking and asking people, we found a bar full of people and music with tapas and rations but they closed at 3.30 and we arrived so late that they did not serve more food. Luckily near we found 2 bares and we could eat an amazing burger with cheese and bacon and chips for 5 euros! People told us by next week all the restaurants will be open. Our camping is in the middle of the town, between the lighthouse and the old town.

We called Arianne and Artur, the couple that we met in Cabo de Gata, Almeria. They live here and they recommended us to stay in this camping to visit the fallas in Valencia. They live next to the camping on the beach so they invited us for a coffee and cake at their house. We had a very nice time, and they told us what to do and see and eat here in Cullera, and they will take us to see the fallas here and old town etc. Their dog Lola and Asha were ok, even when Asha ate her food, drank her water and took Lola’s tennis ball home. Asha is much bigger than Lola.

Ben and Asha woke up very early one morning and they went to see the chapel, 10 minutes walking through the mountain here inside the camping. Ben told me the way gives a lot of vertigo, so I do not know if I will do it. In case, I put the pics that Ben took as the place is pretty cool.

We have been going around the town with the motorbike to discover things we need, like supermarkets, tourist offices, etc. And we have made friends already at the camping. Andreas, a german guy who is travelling alone and is the new playmate of Asha and a couple also from Germany which arrived 2 days ago. He is a musician and plays the guitar and sings, so we have arranged already to have some drinks and music. They also will come to Valencia to see the fallas. Now another post, as yesterday we went walking to see the lighthouse and we saw dolphins!
