Sonora Beach Estepona (EN)

Camping Tropical in Sonora beach between Marbella and Estepona was our first camping. The location is very good, 2 minutes from Sonora beach where you have chiringuitos and bars. We did very good friends at the camping, quite a group to have drinks and take sunshine, such as Joseph and his daughter Tahnee (Germany), Elka and Raynor (German), Alex (Ukrania), Sammy (France) and Michel (France). All of them help us a lot to find out how the motorhome works and what we have to do, such a lovely Swedish man, Mr perfecto, whom we met later in Torre del Mar.

We stayed at camping Tropical November until 27 December. The camping is small with a heated pool, the facilities are good, the only bad point is that in the shower the water was or very cold or very hot and the soup in the toilet was filled with water so you did not have proper soup to wash your hands. Otherwise, we will recommend it as it has the venta el perejil next to it with daily menus for 10 euros, and Sonora chiringuito, really hippie and dog friendly at 2 minutes on the beach. There are also buses to Marbella, San Pedro and Estepona.
