How the Adventure Started
It all started with COVID and a VW T5 Campervan. Unfortunately, Cristina lost her job like so many others in Spain at the start of the COVID lockdown. I (Ben) work for myself as a website designer and can work from anywhere and we were so annoyed at being locked down and unable to use our campervan for over a year, especially as we were not tied down to a location with Cristina work. It felt like a missed opportunity. So we started to plan the possibility of travelling once the travel restrictions were relaxed/lifted. BUT first things first, Cristina wanted a toilet so it was decided that we would sell the campervan and get our first motorhome. Next, it was to plan a route the only requirement was we don’t want to be cold.
Our plan is to travel up through Spain (Malaga, Almeria, Murcia, Alicante, Valencia, Catalunia) across France back and to England. Then up to Scotland for our only confirmed date to see the “Red Hot Chilly Peppers” in July. Of course, we plan to see more of Scotland before we start heading south (to avoid the cold ;-). Back through England and cross to the Netherlands, then Germany, Austria, Eslovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece where we plan to pass the winter. Once things start to warm up we plan to cross to Italy, Sicily and back to Italy for a friends wedding in the summer. Then it’s back to Marbella passing through the rest of Italy, France, the North of Spain and Portugal. Well, that’s the plan, follow this blog to see how the adventure goes – what can possibly go wrong!!?
I love you guys ❤️
Love you too xoxoxox
Sounds great!
Wishing you great adventures and happy travelling! Hope to see you somewhere along the route!
Hey, yes maybe we can meet along the road! xxxx
Hola chicos, vaya aventura!!!😊
