Finally, mussels

Last Tuesday Mariana and Cor left the camping, so later on we had some drinks with Billy and Wolfgang, a couple from Germany. Billy speaks English and Wolfgang speaks Spanish, so I can speak with everybody but Ben only with Billy and Wolfgang only with me, it was pretty funny jumping from one language to another. After a lot of wine and beer, we couldn’t understand each other! Hahaha, but we could do plans for next Saturday.

Yesterday we went to eat mussels, it is something typical here, a bowl of 1-kilo mussels with chips for 11 euros. We did try to eat them last Saturday when we arrived back from the lighthouse but they didn’t have more. So yesterday we arrived early, around 1.15 pm but they had finished again! They told us that the people called and booked 1 or 2 kilos for lunch every day. Therefore, we told them that we want a kilo for today at 2 pm. And finally! today we ate mussels, Ben liked them so much that he ordered another kilo! The salsa is with celery, garlic, onions and white wine. Really full after 2 kilos of mussels.

Tomorrow, we are going to Villajoyosa, a fishing town with colour houses recommended by my cousin Mila. We will go by tram. We will let you know!
