Greece – Kryonery, Nostos Beach Bar (En)
Located in Kryoneri, Western Greece, Nostos Beach Bar is a popular spot renowned for its laid-back atmosphere, beach volleyball, and ping-pong tables. It is a true paradise—a beach surrounded by mountains, offering everything you need to relax and enjoy a fabulous vacation.
Where to stay
At the Nostos Beach Bar motorhome parking area (38.334098, 21.580847 lat, long), right by the beach and a 10-minute walk from the village of Kryoneri. It costs €10 per day without electricity and €15 with electricity. The parking area features facilities for filling water tanks and emptying grey and black water, two covered showers—in addition to the beach showers—and restrooms. There is a bar and restaurant with terraces, chill-out areas, and sun loungers with umbrellas. For entertainment, there are ping-pong tables and volleyball courts. We love this place: great music and delicious food at very good prices. I recommend stopping here for a few days to enjoy the beach and the beach bar’s facilities.
What to see
The village of Kryoneri. It is a village with a small fishing harbor and beachside bars and restaurants. There are no shops. The beach is very popular, featuring sun loungers and umbrellas. The water is very shallow, so you have to go quite far out from the shore to be able to swim. We much preferred our beach at Nostos Beach.
What to do
Enjoying the sun loungers while sipping freddos and cocktails.
Enjoy the beach by swimming and snorkeling.
Playing ping-pong and beach paddleball.
We had a varied platter of delicious fish: calamari, large prawns, baby cuttlefish, fresh anchovies, octopus salad, potato salad, and french fries. We paired it with a pitcher of white wine. All for 20 euros. The portion was huge, and we were even treated to dessert—two ice creams.
And enjoy the terraces, playing cards and having cold drinks.
