Scotland – Glasgow (En)

Friday morning when we were preparing to go to Glasgow and the concert we received an email telling us that the concert has been rescheduled due to an illness. We were totally disappointed! They played 2 days before in London and I think they were partying and now they couldn’t play in Glasgow. We asked for our money back as it was no date of when they will play again and we will not come back to Scotland. Due to all this, I phoned my friends in Edinburgh and told them that we were free to see us today. They were going to come on Saturday from Edingburgh the day after the concert. And we arranged to meet at quarter to two in a pub in the centre of Glasgow.

As we arrived in Glasgow around 12 pm we decided to go to see Glasgow before meeting my friends. We parked in public parking in the city centre where for 16 pounds you could stay 24 hours, so we could sleep there.

First, we went to see the area on the river, with many bridges crossing the city and cool buildings on the sides.

Then we went to the city centre, which is full of shops, bars and restaurants, with very cool buildings, street musicians and a really great atmosphere full of people.

Then we met my friends Fiona and Danny in a Wetherspoons pub for the old times as we met in The Man in the Moon, a Wetherspoons pub in Camden Town in London where Fiona was my boss. We ate nachos and chicken wings and catch up with a lot of pints of beer and bottles of Pinot Grigio. Danny came with red hot chilli pepper earrings to support us and with a t-shirt that he bought in Marbella in Spain when they came to visit me one summer. Later in the evening, we went to our motorhome to keep going celebrating until they had to take their train back to Edinburgh. We finish pretty drunk and decided to go for a pizza, in our adventure to find a pizza we passed through a karaoke place, a private event and other bars until Ben found a place where he thought the pizzas are good! hahaha.

And we finished our trip in Scotland, so the next day Saturday we went back to England and the midlands.
