Dordogne – Party at the camping (En)
Mariana and Cor left yesterday towards an area where Cor can fish and on the way to Holland. So we said bye-bye to them until we visit them in Holland when we cross from England to Rotterdam.
As I said in the last post, our Scottish friends, John and Susi, invited us for dinner with another couple from USA, Victor and Jane, Jane grew up in Hawaii. John cooked the dinner, as a starter we had a prawn cocktail with fruits and for the second sausages with sweet potato, onions and apple. We had seconds and third serves of this! The dinner was delicious. Thanks, John!
After dinner, a couple from England joined us, Graham and Wonder. We started to speak about the different places we were from and I do not know how we decided that we have to dance the typical dances from each place. And with the wine going around we did it! It was hilarious. Jane danced the typical Hawaiian dance, Susi the typical Scottish and Victor and Susi the typical Irish. Also, John and Susi did a kind of dirty dancing movie dance! They were fantastic! I danced sevillanas (flamenco dance) with Victor and Ben trying to be my partner, it was a disaster, hahaha, and sorry but I do not have a video of it. Here are some videos!
The first video is Susi and John in an amazing dance, the second is Susi dancing a typical Scottish dance and the third is Victor and Susi dancing the typical Irish with Asha barking at the rhythm of the music! hahaha.
And we keep going until dark. The next day, Ben and I went to the gardens of the Marqueyssac, which you will see in the next blog.
