England – Winchcombe (En)

Winchcombe is a Cotswold town with timbered inns, quality shops, centuries-old architecture, stunning countryside, beautiful walks, and a castle!

What to see

We parked on the main street and the first thing you see is the Church of San Pedro, which we could see inside.

Then we went to see the Castle Housegate at the top of a hill with impressive views of the town.

We toured the town where you find the art centre, the Museum with the town clock and its centuries-old wooden and stone houses.

Then we went to have a drink in one of the oldest pubs in town, which is beautiful inside and out.

We finished our visit by driving to the Castle when we arrived there was a bike race with stalls, which was very cool. We went to see the castle but we couldn’t go in because we had dogs, so we only got to see the entrance to the castle and the views!

Our next visit will be to Henley-in-Arden, one of the prettiest towns in England, which you can see in the next blog!
